Even though I have no particular symptoms and have never been officially diagnosed as being infected, I decided to do an herbal parasite cleanse. This blog details my month on the Humaworm program. I paid for the cleanse myself. I was not given a “review copy” and have no financial stake in the Humaworm company.
Parasite Cleanse Week One Roundup
Not much happened in my first week. About the only way I’d say much did happen would be if I crapped out squiggly worms but that’s not the way these things go.
On the Humaworm program, you take two capsules in the morning and two more 8 to 12 hours later.
Day one was nothing worth mentioning.
Day two, I had some unusually odorous urine. I had not eaten asparagus so I am going to make a leap of faith and say the cleanse was working and I was excreting parasite remains.
Day three, same smelly piss. Late that day, I developed a sore spot on my left pinky finger.
Day four, the sore spot had become an full fledge zit. I’ve never had zits on my fingers before. I am going to give Humaworm credit for that one. The program cleans you out and the toxins are expelled in whatever way is most expedient. Sometimes they come out through the skin. I popped the zit and expressed a lot of clear pus that day.
The week before, I had gotten a Clark zapper on eBay and it arrived this day. I did a couple rounds of zapping. I didn’t feel anything but I will continue to zap during the cleanse.
Day five and six were nothing worth mentioning.
Day seven, I had a horrible headache for most of the day. It wasn’t debiliating but it wasn’t pleasant either. Headaches are a frequent symptom of parasite die off so this could be the cleanse doing its job. I was also very constipated.
Parasite Cleanse Week Two Roundup
Not much happened this week. I had a couple smelly pees but that was about it. I haven’t lost any weight or inches around the waist. I guess this means I didn’t have much of an infestation. Or else it’s too soon to make any judgements.
Humaworm Parasite Cleanse Week Three Roundup
In a way it’s disappointing. I’ve had very few die off symptoms this week. Maybe one stinky piss and not much else. I’ve been taking my camera to the bathroom with me hoping to get shots of something gross and icky but I haven’t taken it out of its case once.
One thing I have noticed is that I’ve become a bit constipated. It’s not unusual to get constipated on this cleanse even though there’s senna and cascara sagrada in the formula. I started taking senna pills to fix the situation.
Some people have asked me why I did this cleanse when I have no obvious symptoms. I tell them that I just felt like it.
It’s been estimated that about 60 to 90 percent of us have some parasistes. If you ask a doctor about whether or not you have parasiste, he’ll look at you like you’re cracked. If you aren’t sick or you aren’t shitting visible worms, you will never get checked for parasites.
If you are sick and finally get a parasite diagnosis, they have to find the parasite which isn’t easy to do because they are so small. I’m glad I’m not a parasitologist.
So instead of spending hundreds of dollars on medical bills trying to see if I have parasites assuming I can even find a doctor to test me for parasites, I spend $30 and just get rid of them. If I get die-off symptoms, I’ll assume I have or had parasites. If I have no die-off, I’ll assume I was parasite free all along.
The cleanse for me is a diagnosis and cure all in one and it’s a fraction of the cost I’d spend with doctors.
And I have had a few die-off symptoms so I’d say I had a few parasites and this cleanse was worth it. It ends next week. I’ll wait a couple weeks and then do a liver flush.
Parasite Cleanse Conclusion
I forgot to post my fourth week roundup of my parasite cleanse. Sadly, there isn’t much to report. I never took a single picture of anything interesting that came out of me. Other than some stinky urine, which still happens once in awhile so it may not even be a die off symptom, nothing significant happened.
I am glad I got the zapper though. A few weeks ago I was feeling like I was coming down with something. I used the zapper for a couple hours and felt normal afterwards.
I’m still not done pursuing parasite cleansing though. I’ve just read about a plant called purslane that is good for getting rid of worms. It’s also high in Omega 3 EFA’s and vitamin C. It’s used in salads so it’s obviously quite edible. I just don’t know how much I have to eat everyday for a therapeutic effect.
And finally, I haven’t done a liver cleanse yet. If you are going to do a liver or gall bladder cleanse (same thing), you’re supposed to do it after a parasite cleanse. When that happens, I’ll put the results here.
